Burgers Ingrained in Community: M&G Burgers - Thomas Klein

You won’t understand M&G Burgers until you experience it for yourself. The second you walk up, you just feel it. People are laughing, kids are running around, and half the time there's a team still in their uniforms from whatever game just ended. The smell of burgers and fries hits you before you even get to the counter, and somehow that makes everything feel a little more alive.

The food doesn't try to be anything fancy, and that's exactly why it works. The burgers are juicy and flavorful without being overthought. The fries are crispy, salty, and dangerously easy to keep eating. It's the kind of meal that just hits right, especially after you've spent the day outside or pushed through a hard practice.

A lot of my best memories there are tied to West Marin Little League. After a win, the energy was impossible to contain. Everyone's still buzzing, talking over each other, replaying the best moments. You're sitting there dusty from the field, still catching your breath, and it genuinely feels like a celebration. Even after the tough losses, something about being together and sharing food made it easier. Eventually, going to M&G just became part of the day. A game didn't really feel over until you ended up there.

What makes the place stick with you is how effortlessly it brings people together. Families, locals, athletes, visitors — everyone mixes in the same space and it never feels crowded or put-on. It has the same energy as Fairfax itself. Laid back, warm, and completely its own thing.
